MHT CET
MHT-CET is the entrance exam conducted by the CET Cell, which is an arm of the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra to admit students to the 350+ Engineering colleges of Maharashtra State - all Govt, autonomous and private colleges.
The MH-CET exam is conducted typically about 2-3 months after XII Boards examination. Engineering aspirants have to appear for 2 papers - the first one is a combined Test on Physics & Chemistry and the second one on Mathematics. The MHT-CET is out of 200 marks and has 1.5 hours each duration for both papers. There are about 79 chapters in PCM subjects of State Boards curriculum which is the syllabus of MHT-CET.
So, a higher degree of problems solving ability and Test strategy is necessary to crack the JEE ADVANCED as compared to JEE MAINS. It is needless to mention that the JEE ADVANCED is the toughest Entrance exam in the world since 1961.
